Brandan Wright led the Mavs with 23 points and eight rebounds. Dirk Nowitzki scored 22 points and Shawn Marion had 11 points and 13 rebounds. Vince Carter scored 19 points off the bench.
Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Brandon Bass scored 16 points each for Boston. The Celtics shot just 42 percent.
