Otto Porter says he’s undecided on entering 2013 NBA Draft
Georgetown’s projected lottery pick wasn’t in the mood to discuss the NBA following the Hoya’s upset loss to Florida Gulf Coast on Friday night.
Among the stunned Hoyas was sophomore small forward Otto Porter, Jr., who suddenly has a decision to make about entering the NBA draft in June. Following the loss to the Eagles, in which he made just five of 17 shots to presumably close out his college career with 13 points, Porter wasn't ready to discuss his next step, according to Josh Newman at Zagsblog:
As Porter Jr. sat there and stared, someone from the media contingent decided to ask what most reporters in the room were thinking.

“I haven’t made it through that process yet,” Porter Jr. said meekly.
Porter had a meteoric rise among potential NBA draft picks this season as he averaged over 16 points per game for the Hoyas and improved his three-point shooting percentage from 23 percent in his freshman season to 42 percent in his second year.
According to DraftExpress, Porter currently ranks as a solid NBA lottery pick, ranked eighth in their current projections. At 6'8 with a 7'1 wingspan, Porter has a game comparable to Paul George, but will bring a more polished offensive game to the league.
While a decision about his future wasn’t on his mind Friday night, Porter has plenty of time to let the emotions of the devastating loss subside before making a more thorough decision about his future prior to the April 28 deadline to enter the draft.
