For much of the season, the Utah Jazz have struggled to get scoring from their backcourt and their bench. They had no such problems today as Randy Foye connected on eight 3-pointers and Mo Williams added 20 points to lead the Jazz to a 116-107 win over the Brooklyn Nets.

It was a rare offensive explosion for the Jazz, as they scored 30 or more points in three of four quarters, starting in the first quarter when they jumped out to a 33-28 lead. The Nets fought back, taking a two-point lead into halftime. The third quarter was when Foye found his shot, as he hit five threes in the quarter, missing only one attempt.
The fourth quarter was a shootout, as the teams combined to score 66 points, but the Nets couldn't overcome the hole they dug themselves in the third quarter. Al Jefferson added 20 points, while Gordon Hayward, Derrick Favors and Marvin Williams also scored in double figures. Brook Lopez led all scorers with 27 points.
The win kept the Jazz tied with the Los Angeles Lakers for eighth place in the Western Conference, but the Jazz do hold the tie break. The Nets remain in fourth place out East, 1 1/2 games ahead of the Atlanta Hawks.
