Jazz vs. Cavaliers final score: Cavs prevail with big 4th quarter, 104-101

The Utah Jazz lost ground in the Western Conference playoff picture with the loss.

Wayne Ellington's dunk with less than a minute left to play catapulted the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 104-101 win over the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night at Quicken Loans Arena.

It was none other than Kyrie Irving who led the way for the Cavs (21-40) with 20 points on 7-of-20 from the field, 10 assists, seven rebounds and 2-of-4 shooting from the three-point line. Ellington finished with 16 points and six rebounds. Cleveland won the rebounding battle by a margin of 49-38 and gave themselves plenty of second-chance opportunities.

Gordon Hayward had a game-high 25 points to lead the Jazz (32-29) as they try to hang on to a spot in the Western Conference playoffs. They turned the ball over 15 times, and allowed 16 offensive rebounds.

Utah led by as many as 14 points, but a 36-25 discrepancy in the fourth quarter gave Cleveland the fuel to overcome the deficit.
