The Denver Nuggets don't often get thrown in the batch of Western Conference contenders. While legitimate teams like the Los Angeles Clippers and even the Memphis Grizzlies chase the conference's two best teams, the San Antonio Spurs and the Oklahoma City Thunder, the fifth-place Nuggets haven't gotten the mention as a dangerous playoff team.
Ty Lawson thinks the Nuggets can win NBA championship
Point guard Ty Lawson told a radio station that he believes the Denver Nuggets have the talent to win a championship.

Ty Lawson believes they deserve it. The Nuggets point guard told KKFN radio that Denver has the capability to win an NBA championship if they get everyone on the same page:
“I was talking to (Andre) Iguodala a couple of days ago and I was like, ‘Man, we can really win a championship if everybody is mature and gets serious about the game plan.’ If we just stay focused, I feel like we can beat and run with any team in the NBA. That’s what I feel and I think a lot of people on our team feel the same way. We just have to get everything together down the stretch.”
Lawson also discussed his individual growth in the league in the interview transcribed by Sports Radio Interviews.
