Tom Thibodeau throws towel onto the court, avoids technical

With tempers rising during a close game that could decide playoff positioning for the Bulls down the line, Tom Thibodeau let his emotions get the best of him. Nate Robinson threw a terrible lob that got intercepted and led to to a New York fastbreak.

But as New York turned back upcourt, Thibodeau tossed a towel on the court. Considering that Chris Copeland had to leap over the towel, this could have been a dangerous move if Copeland wasn’t as aware of such a weird play.
