Golden State Warriors center Andrew Bogut has missed 38 games this season after undergoing arthroscopic and micro-fracture surgery on his left ankle last season, and on Thursday night he was removed from the game due to another injury to that same ankle. Bogut actually sprained his left ankle in the team's previous game against the Timberwolves on Tuesday, and the team shut him down quickly against OKC when he didn't look 100 percent, according to Marcus Thompson II of Mercury News.com. No X-rays are planned, and head coach Mark Jackson downplayed the impact of the injury after the game:

Bogut will not play against the Lakers on Friday night, which puts Golden State on some shaky ground heading into the final few games of the season. The Warriors are just a half-game ahead of the Houston Rockets for the No. 6 seed, and a drop down could mean the difference between a matchup with the banged up Denver Nuggets or one with the Spurs or Thunder. The Warriors have only three games left on their schedule.
