The past day has been a bit of an emotional roller coaster for Kobe Bryant.

It’s a good thing Kobe has social media to keep him occupied the next few months.
After leaving the court with an apparent Achilles tendon tear in the fourth quarter of Friday’s win against Golden State, Kobe was calm and collected while discussing the injury with reporters in a post-game interview. Hours later, he could be found on Facebook ranting to fans about his frustration in a lengthy post.
On Saturday afternoon, Bryant went to the hospital for an MRI in order to confirm the initial diagnosis. It appears he was in better spirits by then, based on the photos from his Twitter feed.
After the MRI confirmed the worst -- that Bryant had indeed fully torn his left Achilles tendon -- the Lakers superstar was quickly prepped to undergo surgery. It appears he was diggin' the surgery prep fashion, as he wrote, "Lookin like Mrs Doubtfire with a jerri curl cap lol," on his Instagram account (Kobe is really into social media, by the way).
As good as Bryant looks in those light blue garments, I think it’s fair to say he looks a tad better rocking the purple and gold. Get better soon, Mamba.
