Kobe Bryant's season-ending ruptured Achilles tendon further depleted an already banged up Los Angeles Lakers backcourt, so in need of depth, the team is turning to former Lakers guard Andrew Goudelock, according to Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports.

Goudelock was a second round pick by Los Angeles in 2011. He played in 40 games with the Lakers last season, averaging 4.4 points per game while shooting 39 percent overall and 37 percent from three-point range. Goudelock was released before the 2012-13 season started.
He has been one of the top players in the D-League this season, playing for Sioux Falls and Rio Grande. Goudelock has averaged 21.1 points and 5.2 assists per game while shooting 48 percent from the field and making 36 percent of his three-pointers. Spears reports that Goudelock could be available to play against the San Antonio Spurs Sunday.
