Tim Hardaway Jr. to enter 2013 NBA Draft, according to report
Michigan wing Tim Hardaway Jr. is joining teammate Trey Burke in entering the 2013 NBA Draft.
The son of a longtime NBA star with the same name, Hardaway boasts an impressive pedigree and played well in his three years in Ann Arbor. Armed with size (6’6) and athleticism, he’s physically the prototypical wing player teams look for in the draft.
In his final year at Michigan, Hardaway averaged 14.5 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game. He was a 37 percent shooter from beyond the arc and shot 44 percent overall. He mostly struggled with his shot in the NCAA Tournament, though.
Hardaway is ranked No. 56 in this year’s draft by Draft Express and No. 55 on the list compiled by ESPN’s Chad Ford. Expect teams to give him a hard look in the second round.
