The Indiana Pacers may not be widely considered as an Eastern Conference contender, but they are considerable favorites to advance to the second round of the NBA playoffs. In fact, the No. 3-seeded Pacers are a bigger favorite to advance than the No. 2-seeded New York Knicks.

The Pacers open the series with two games at home and are a 6-point favorite to win Game 1, according to Odds Shark.
While Indiana is a significant favorite to win the series, oddmakers aren’t predicting a sweep. The over/under is set at 5-1/2 games with the over favored with -135 odds. According to the current odds on Bovada, the series is most likely to end in five games. A five game series is +180 while four games is +425 and six and seven games are both +205.
If the Hawks are going to pull off the upset, their best chance to do it is in six games, according to the odds. Atlanta is a 6/1 favorite to win the series in six games, with those odds jumping to 17/2 if the series goes to a deciding Game 7.
