Nets shooting guard Joe Johnson did not practice Wednesday and is questionable to play in Game 3 against the Bulls on Thursday due to plantar fasciitis in his left foot.

Johnson sat out practice Wednesday, but the Nets are hoping that he will be ready to go in Game 3. Johnson dealt with a sore left heel earlier in the year, and while Johnson said that injury had elements of plantar fasciitis, he now is dealing with a full blown case of it.
Johnson went on to say that he tweaked the injury on a jumper early in the Nets’ 90-82 Game 2 loss on Monday. He struggled for much of the game, finishing with 17 points on 6-of-18 shooting.
With Johnson now dealing with plantar fasciitis, that means there are two high profile cases of the injury in this series. Bulls center Joakim Noah has been dealing with plantar fasciitis for a couple of months, and there were some questions about whether he would be able to play in this series. After struggling in Game 1 and at the outset of Game 2, Noah came alive in the fourth quarter on Monday and helped secure a Bulls victory.
