The Bulls have returned to Chicago and lead Brooklyn at halftime. Brooklyn’s offense has struggled after opening up an early lead in the first quarter.
Brooklyn struggled to score through the first half. As a team, the Nets shot 22.5 percent from the floor. Chicago’s offense took until the second quarter to ramp up, but eventually the Bulls pushed ahead while Brooklyn scored only 17 points in the second quarter.

Which Deron Williams shows up?
After shooting only 11 percent from the field in Game 2, Williams didn’t start the game out any better from the field. In the first quarter he made only one of his four field goals, but did score eight points (five free throws). While the Nets struggled to score through the first half, Williams failed to take over on the offensive end. The Bulls were aggressive in guarding the paint against Williams and sent extra defenders to stop him. He settled for jumpers through the first half.
How much will Joakim Noah be able to give?
Noah started the game for Chicago but played limited minutes while Carlos Boozer and Taj Gibson handled frontcourt duties. Noah didn't look hindered by his plantar fasciitis, moving well on both ends of the floor. He finished the half scoreless with four rebounds and one block.
Will the Nets make an adjustment in their starting lineup?
Joe Johnson was in the starting lineup for Game 3 so Brooklyn did not have to make adjustments. Johnson, playing with plantar fasciitis, Like Williams, Johnson's shooting slump continued into Game 3 as he scored nine points on three-of-eight shooting.
