Bradley Beal injury: Wizards rookie out for season with leg injury
The Washington Wizards will be without guard Bradley Beal for the rest of the year because of a stress injury to his right fibula.

The rookie out of Florida and third pick in the 2012 draft by Washington will finish his rookie season with averages of 13.9 points and 3.8 rebounds per game on 41 percent shooting. He was third among NBA rookies in scoring and also third in three-point shooting at 38.6 percent.
Beal will have missed a total of 26 games of the year due to various injuries. Most recently, he returned for two games following a five-game absence from an ankle sprain suffered on March 20. That was a re-sprain of the same ankle that cost the shooting guard six games from March 6-15.
Additionally, Beal sat five games because of a sprained right wrist and two because of a sore back.
