Insisting that his health going into the playoffs is top priority, Miami Heat shooting guard Dwyane Wade says he will likely sit out the final six games of the regular season, according to ESPN.com's Michael Wallace.
Dwyane Wade could sit out until playoffs
A knee injury could keep Heat star Dwyane Wade sidelined until the postseason.

With an injury to his left knee still causing problems, Wade has missed six of Miami’s past eight games. Swelling and soreness persists in the knee despite rest, partially a result of the injury being aggravated multiple times since it initially occurred last month.
“The most important thing is to be healthy,” Wade said Sunday. “So when I feel it, then I’ll get back on the court. Obviously, I want to play. But I have to make sure that I’m right. You have to get healthy.”
Already officially the No. 1 seed in the East going into the playoffs, Miami has the benefit of being able to rest players like Wade without much issue. He played through knee soreness during the team’s playoff run last year, but the team will try to avoid that this time around.
