After leading San Antonio to a key win in Game 3, Spurs point guard Tony Parker will play in Sunday's Game 4 against the Warriors despite a bruised calf that briefly led to questions about his availability.
Tony Parker injury: Spurs point guard playing through calf injury in Game 4
A calf injury won’t keep Spurs star Tony Parker out of the lineup as San Antonio looks to expand its series lead in Oakland.
Parker was brilliant Friday night as the Spurs grabbed a 2-1 series lead, finishing with 32 points and five rebounds in probably his finest effort of the postseason. However, he dinged up his left leg in the fourth quarter, picking up what was described as a “baseball sized knot.”
He’d finish the game, albeit with an ocassionally noticeable limp. After sitting out practice Saturday and being labeled a game-time decision for the game, Parker still insisted to reporters that he’d be on the court when the time came.
It turns out that’s true:
* GSW: Curry, Klay, Barnes, Landry Bogut... * Spurs: Parker, Green, Splitter, Duncan, Leonard.

Noteworthy is that he'll face off against Stephen Curry, who continues to deal with nagging ankle issues. Their hobbled matchup was the No. 1 key in Patrick Hayes' breakdown of the game.
Don’t worry, Tony -- we won’t forget about you this time.
