Chicago Bulls starting point guard Kirk Hinrich will miss Game 7 of the team's first round series against the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday night due to a calf injury, coach Tom Thibodeau announced prior to tip off.
Kirk Hinrich injury: Bulls PG will miss Game 7 against Nets
The Bulls will likely need another huge performance from Nate Robinson in Game 7 as starting point guard Kirk Hinrich sits out with a calf injury.

Without Hinrich, the Bulls will once again be severely shorthanded as they look to put away the series in Brooklyn. Injuries and illness have decimated Chicago’s roster in recent games, allowing the Nets to battle back and force a Game 7 after trailing 3-1 earlier in the series.
All-Star forward Luol Deng will also miss Saturday's game as he deals with the flu, leaving Chicago without two of its starters entering the biggest game of the season.
Nate Robinson will likely start in Hinrich's place once again as the Bulls' only other point guard is rookie Marquis Teague. Robinson has played well in this series, but Chicago has clearly missed Hinrich's defense and leadership in the latter part of the series.
