NBA Playoffs 2013: Recapping Thunder, Pacers wins with GIFs
The Oklahoma City Thunder and Indiana Pacers are now up 1-0 on the Grizzlies and Knicks, respectively. Here’s how it happened.
The Thunder and the Grizzlies opened the Western Conference Semifinals Sunday afternoon. The Grizzlies were up double-digits in the second half, and looked to have all the momentum going into the fourth quarter when Quincy Pondexter hit this shot.
The Thunder, led by Kevin Durant who had 35 points and 15 rebounds, came back in the fourth quarter, and took their first lead with 11 seconds left on this KD shot.
That proved to be the game-winner. Game 2 should be just as fun.
Once the game got going, it was pretty ugly and MSG was shockingly quiet. The Pacers beat up the Knicks, especially down low, but also just all over.
The Knicks were down 16 at halftime and brought the game within single digits, but Carmelo Anthony shot 10-28 and no one else stepped up to provide much offense, other than Raymond Felton. No one was doing much stepping at all, in fact, and when they did, it went horribly wrong.
The Pacers won, 102-95, and have stolen home-court advantage from the No. 2-seeded Knicks.
