With the Miami Heat looking to avoid a 3-1 series deficit on Wednesday night, head coach Erik Spoelstra has altered his starting lineup for Game 4. Sharpshooter Mike Miller will replace center Udonis Haslem to begin the game.
NBA Finals 2013: Heat to start Mike Miller over Udonis Haslem
Miller has shot the ball very well in the Finals, going 9-for-10 from deep.

Haslem has been largely ineffective since breaking out for 16 points in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals, averaging just two points per game in his last five contests. Miller, on the other hand, has provided a spark for the Heat off the bench against San Antonio, going 9-for-10 from behind the three-point arc in the series. He scored 15 points in Game 3.
Even with Haslem beginning Game 4 on the bench, the veteran center should still see substantial playing time. Chris Bosh will be the lone big man on the defensive end for Miami to begin the game; it will be interesting to see if the Spurs place an emphasis on getting to the rim with a weaker defensive presence in the paint, especially with Haslem and Chris Andersen on the bench.
