LeBron James and Dwyane Wade combined for 29 points, but the San Antonio Spurs weathered the storm to tie Game 4 against the Miami Heat at 49-49 going into halftime.

LeBron James and Dwyane Wade were assertive through the first half but San Antonio made a run late in the second quarter and Game 4 is tied at halftime.
Wade had two steals and one block in the first half to go with his 14 points. He was engaged through the first half and and looked the best he has so far through the series. James went 7-for-11 from the field for 15 points and was not passive on offense.
Tony Parker showed no signs of being slowed down by his hamstring as he scored 15 points and dished out six assists.
San Antonio pushed the lead to 10 in the first quarter but Miami weathered the hot start from the Spurs as James attacked the rim in transition and did a good job of picking his spots from mid-range. Miami led the Spurs by three once the first quarter was over. James and Wade combined for 21 of the Heat’s 29 first quarter points.
Miami's defensive pressure in the second quarter helped stretch their lead to 10. The Spurs had nine turnovers in the first half. The Spurs weathered the storm, just like Miami, and tied the game after Boris Diaw scored in transition with 12.9 seconds left in the half. Chris Bosh tried to throw down a dunk before the buzzer sounded but it was too late, the referees waved off the shot and the teams are tied at 49 points each.

James was locked in during the first half. He attacked the rim in transition as he found his rhythm and confidently mixed in shots from mid-range while San Antonio’s defense sagged off of him. The real LeBron James was on the floor and the league’s Most Valuable Player backed up his talk about asserting himself and leading his team.

Gary Neal, Danny Green and Kawhi Leonard each hit three-point field goals to start the game but San Antonio went on to miss their next three attempts from beyond the arc. It wasn't until Diaw connected from the corner at the 2:11 mark in the second quarter that the Spurs made another three-point field goal.
Can Miami clean up their own glass?
Miami and San Antonio each grabbed 18 rebounds. The Spurs had no offensive rebounds as Miami actively crashed the boards and didn’t give up second-chance opportunities.
