The San Antonio Spurs put Manu Ginobili in the starting lineup for the first time all season, and he responded with a season-high 24 points and 10 assists in leading his team to a 114-104 victory over the Miami Heat in Game 5 of the 2013 NBA Finals.

The Heat and Spurs continue to trade victories, and this time San Antonio came out on top.

The game was evenly matched and played at a breathless pace in the first quarter before the Spurs took a big lead right at the beginning, thanks to a 15-2 run. Erik Spoelstra said in his interview with sideline reporter Doris Burke that the Heat's offense was "horrible":

Part of the story was, again, the incomprehensibly hot shooting of Danny Green. He set the NBA Finals record for 3-pointers in a series when he hit his 23rd before finishing the game with 25. This one broke the record:
The game went back and forth early in the third quarter before Manu Ginobili and Green fueled a huge, 19-point Spurs run right before the end of the quarter, sealed appropriately by this devastating floater:
The Spurs have taken a 3-2 lead in the NBA Finals as the series turns back to Miami Tuesday night. If Ginobili can match his performance from Game 5 and Green stays hot, it’s hard to imagine the Sprus not coming away with title No. 5:
