The Orlando Magic and Los Angeles Clippers are discussing a draft-day deal that, according to SportsCity's Mark Heisler, would send Eric Bledsoe and Caron Butler to Orlando for Arron Afflalo along with possibly Andrew Nicholson and, potentially, a future protected first-round pick.
NBA trade rumors: Magic reportedly could move Arron Afflalo to Clippers for Eric Bledsoe, Caron Butler
It seems that the L.A. Clippers might be moving closer to trading Chris Paul’s backup to Orlando.

Bledsoe, Chris Paul's primary backup, has been rumored to possibly be trade bait as long as the Clippers are able to convince Paul to re-sign with the team rather than heading somewhere else during free agency. Many believe that the Clippers moved a lot closer to doing just that with the trade for Doc Rivers, too, so it makes sense that more details of this trade are coming about.
Heisler also indicated in his report that the Clippers are searching for a stretch four to play alongside Paul, lending some credence to a HoopsWorld report from Steve Kyler that says Orlando may also have to package Nicholson with Afflalo to make the Clippers deal work. Kyler also indicates that a future protected first-round pick could shift from Orlando to Los Angeles, but that doesn’t seem as likely.
Nicholson averaged 7.8 points and 3.4 rebounds in 16.7 minutes for the Magic last year after being a first-round draft pick out of St. Bonaventure. Draft night could get a bit awkward for him if this trade happens, though, because Orlando Pinstriped Post cites a report saying Nicholson is expected to be in attendance for the Magic’s official draft party.
