NBA Draft 2013: Minnesota Timberwolves select Bojan Dubljevic with No. 59 pick
The Timberwolves selected Euro prospect Bojan Dubljevic at No. 59.
Dubljevic isn’t one of the more well-known European prospects, but the 21-year-old had a very productive season in a very good league last year. Dubljevic averaged 12 points and and nearly four rebounds in just 20 minutes a game for Valencia in the ultra-competitive Spanish ACB last season, but his lack of size and athleticism might make his ceiling be a very good European player rather than a potential NBA role player.
Dubljevic will almost certainly be stashed over in Europe for a few years before coming over to the United States. If Kevin Love leaves Minnesota, Dubljevic could possibly be used as a player that helps replace Love, as he's a stretch 4 that has three-point range. Obviously Dubljevic is nowhere near the talent of Love, but there are some similar qualities.
