The NBA has announced the referee assignments for Monday's Eastern Conference Finals Game 7 between the Miami Heat and Indiana Pacers.
Pacers vs. Heat referee assignments: Scott Foster leads crew
Scott Foster will be joined by Mike Callahan and Ken Mauer as officials for Game 7 between the Heat and Pacers.
The lead official will be Scott Foster, with Mike Callahan and Ken Mauer joining him for the crucial game. Tom Washington is the alternate official. Foster worked Game 2 of this series, while Callahan and Mauer worked together in Game 3.
The officiating has been a talking point in several of the games this series, most notably after Games 4 and 5. In Game 4, the officials made an egregious ruling on a shot clock violation against the Pacers, which was then followed by a Heat run. In the final minute, LeBron James fouled out on a questionable illegal screen and Dwyane Wade was whistled for a debatable traveling violation.
In Game 5, Chris Andersen was allowed to stay in the game after a cheap shot and subsequent shove of Tyler Hansbrough. Andersen wound up suspended for Game 6 because of the incident despite not getting ejected from Game 5.
