NBA trade rumors: Warriors exploring market for David Lee, according to report
The Warriors are exploring the trade market for David Lee, and they’ve already tried trading him for Andrea Bargnani and LaMarcus Aldridge.

Lee still has three years and $44 million left on his contract, and while he was productive last year, the Warriors did have quite a bit of success in the postseason without him playing a major role due to a torn hip flexor. Lee averaged 18.5 points and 11.2 rebounds last season, but his defense is a concern and Golden State may be able to get some cap relief or another solid player in a deal.
The Warriors have already made several trade offers with Lee as the centerpiece. One was to the Toronto Raptors for Andrea Bargnani, but the Raptors made a deal with the New York Knicks instead.
The other was a bigger deal with the Portland Trail Blazers in an attempt to nab LaMarcus Aldridge. The Warriors also included Brandon Rush in that trade package, but the Blazers turned down the offer and have reportedly been pursuing more "robust" proposals for Aldridge.
Wojnarowski does say that the Warriors are in no hurry to trade Lee, but that they’re simply gauging his worth on the market and are willing to make a deal if they feel it’s a good one.
