The Los Angeles Lakers can already offer more money to Dwight Howard than any other suitor, but ESPN LA's Arash Markazi is reporting another interesting feature of the team's pitch. Time Warner, which holds the Lakers' broadcast rights, has already discussed giving Howard his own television show if he stays in L.A.
Dwight Howard free agency: TV show reportedly part of Lakers’ pitch
The Lakers are trying to sell Dwight Howard on a true Los Angeles experience, one that might include his own television show.

For a player who has always shown an affinity for the limelight, offering Howard his own show could be an interesting wrinkle. As Silver Screen and Roll says, the Lakers’ ties to the entertainment industry could be a key selling point in convincing Howard to stay. Even Jack Nicholson has joined the effort to prevent his departure.
Per the CBA, the Lakers can't offer Howard any additional salary for whatever media endeavors he might partake in with Time Warner, but the extra exposure could lead to more income from endorsements and the like. Moving to the Houston Rockets could close some of those doors, though Yao Ming didn't have any trouble being wildly popular there.
Still, as other teams try to persuade Howard to make a change, the Lakers are pulling out all the stops to convince him to stick around.
