NBA Summer League 2013: Trey Burke hopes to get on track, Kelly Olynyk aims to continue strong play

Day 4 of the Orlando Summer League features three games. Jazz point guard Trey Burke looks to shake off a sluggish start to the summer against the Nets, while Celtics big man Kelly Olynyk hopes to continues his excellent play as the C’s face off against the Rockets.

There are just three games scheduled for Wednesday in the Orlando Summer League, with first-round pick Trey Burke and the Utah Jazz facing the Brooklyn Nets to start the action at 11 a.m. ET. Let's take a closer look at the three games on the docket.

Utah Jazz at Brooklyn Nets, 11 a.m.

The Jazz fell to 1-1 in Summer League play with an 85-71 loss to the Houston Rockets on Tuesday. Burke followed up a rough Summer League debut on Sunday with a slightly better performance, although it still wasn't very good. Burke had 11 points on 5-of-15 shooting while turning it over four times against the Rockets. Burke is shooting just 22.2 percent in two games.

The Nets had the day off after losing their first two games of Summer League. Tyshawn Taylor is averaging 21.0 points through two games, while No. 22 pick Mason Plumlee is averaging 11.5 rebounds.

Oklahoma City Thunder at Philadelphia 76ers, 1 p.m.

The Thunder improved to 3-0 this summer behind Reggie Jackson's 35 points with a 79-75 win over the Detroit Pistons. Jackson scored 23 of his 35 points in the fourth quarter to spark a big comeback. No. 12 pick Steven Adams played a strong game, scoring 11 points and grabbing six boards. Dwight Buycks had 13 points, and he's averaging 12.0 points and 7.0 assists this summer.

The Sixers are 0-2 this summer and didn't play on Tuesday. No. 13 pick Michael Carter-Williams has played well thus far, averaging 19.5 points and 7.5 assists. Undrafted free agent Khalif Wyatt has also been impressive, scoring 17.0 points per game through the two contests.

Boston Celtics at Houston Rockets, 3 p.m.

No. 13 pick Kelly Olynyk has gotten off to a great start this summer, averaging 19.7 points and 7.3 rebounds. Olynyk had 21 points and nine rebounds in a 76-74 victory over the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday. Tony Mitchell had 15 points in the win and is averaging 13.3 points. The Celtics have started the summer 2-1.

The Rockets are unbeaten thus far this summer, moving to 2-0 with their victory over the Jazz. Patrick Beverley had 11 points in the win, and he's averaging 10.5 points in Orlando. Terrence Jones leads the team with an average of 15.0 points.

How to watch Wednesday’s games

All three games can be watched live on NBA.com with the purchase of the Summer League Live subscription. The games will also be broadcast live on NBA TV and will then be re-aired later in the evening. Jazz/Nets will be re-aired at 5 p.m., Celtics/Rockets will be re-aired at 8 p.m. and Thunder/Sixers will be re-aired at 11 p.m.
