NBA Orlando Summer League roundup: Jeremy Lamb leads Thunder, Trey Burke sits out Jazz victory

A day after Reggie Jackson scored 35 points to lead the Thunder to a Summer League victory, Lamb put up 32 in a win over the 76ers. Meanwhile, Burke watched a Jazz victory from the bench and the Rockets beat the Celtics.

Day 4 of the Orlando Summer League saw three games and one standout performance from Jeremy Lamb of the Oklahoma City Thunder. Let's take a look at what happened in Orlando on Wednesday.

Lamb dominant in Thunder victory over 76ers

The Thunder will likely need Lamb to step up to help replace the scoring void left by the departure of Kevin Martin, and they have to be pleased with what they saw on Wednesday. Lamb scored 32 points in a 74-62 victory over the Sixers, nearly one-upping Reggie Jackson's 35-point performance from the day before.

Lamb scored his 32 points on 10-of-14 shooting, and was 9-of-10 from the free throw line. Lamb did turn the ball over eight times, but he more than made up for it with his efficient scoring. No. 12 draft pick Steven Adams chipped in with a solid performance, scoring 13 points and grabbing five rebounds.

The Sixers had a rough go of it offensively, with only Rodney Williams reaching double figures in scoring with 13 points. No. 11 pick Michael Carter Williams really struggled, scoring seven points on 3-of-16 shooting.

The Thunder moved to 4-0 in the summer, while the Sixers dropped to 0-3.

Burke sits as Jazz smoke Nets

No. 9 pick Trey Burke shot just 22.2 percent in his first two Summer League games, so the Jazz decided to sit the rookie and have him watch from the bench. Without Burke, the Jazz dominated the Nets, 98-69, behind a balanced scoring effort.

Chris Roberts and Jeremy Evans both had 15 points to lead five Jazz in double figures. Alec Burks added 14 points as Utah moved to 2-1 in Summer League play.

The Nets fell to 0-3 with the ugly defeat, with foul trouble and sloppy play abundant throughout the game. Brooklyn committed 32 fouls in the contest, leading to 37 free throws for Utah. The Nets coughed the ball up 22 times.

Chris Wright led the Nets with 20 points. Tyshawn Taylor was the only other Net to reach double figures with 10 points.

Jones helps Rockets past Olynyk, Celtics

Terrence Jones had 17 points and six rebounds to help lead the Houston Rockets to an 85-78 victory over the Boston Celtics. Jones shot just 3-of-12 from the field, but he was 10-of-14 from the line.

Undrafted guard Vander Blue added 16 points for the Rockets, who moved to 3-0 this summer despite shooting only 37.3 percent for the game and turning the ball over 20 times.

While the Celtics lost, they have to continue to be impressed with the play of No. 13 pick Kelly Olynyk. The big man was impressive again in the defeat, scoring 19 points and pulling down 10 rebounds.

Tim Abromaitis added 14 points in the losing effort. The Celtics fell to 2-2 in Orlando.
