The Charlotte Bobcats are exploring sign-and-trade possibilities with multiple teams about restricted free agent Gerald Henderson after contract negotiations stalled, according to Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski.
NBA free agency: Bobcats exploring sign-and-trade options with Gerald Henderson, per report
The Bobcats have been unable to reach an agreement with Gerald Henderson, so they’re looking at sign-and-trade possibilities in order to get something in return for the guard.

Henderson has received little buzz on the free-agent market, and it appeared that he would be heading back to Charlotte. The Bobcats have plenty of money to offer Henderson, but either they’re low-balling him or he doesn’t want to return to the team without a more lucrative contract.
Henderson was productive last season in Charlotte, averaging 15.5 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.6 assists. He shot 44.7 percent from the field and 33.0 percent from three-point range.
While Henderson is not a star by any means, he could be a good role player on the right team. The 25-year-old has displayed solid scoring ability in Charlotte and has decent size for a shooting guard along with great athleticism. A team could wind up getting a steal if it’s able to acquire the former Duke standout at the right price.
