The first day of the Las Vegas Summer League Championship is in the books, and the Portland Trail Blazers, Miami Heat and Dallas Mavericks will join the Denver Nuggets, Memphis Grizzlies and Minnesota Timberwolves in the next round. Let's take a look at the final three games of Wednesday night.
NBA Las Vegas Summer League 2013: Blazers, Heat, Mavericks move on in tournament
The Blazers and Mavericks nabbed close victories in the Las Vegas Summer League Championship on Wednesday night, while the Heat won in blowout fashion.

Blazers edge Hawks in overtime
The 19th-seeded Blazers erased an 11-point fourth quarter deficit and defeated the 14th-seeded Atlanta Hawks in overtime, 70-69. Portland grabbed the win courtesy of a jumper by Will Barton with 9.3 seconds remaining in the overtime period. The Hawks had two chances to win, but missed both opportunities.
Blazers first-round pick C.J. McCollum led the way with 19 points on 5-of-14 shooting. Barton had a strong overall game, scoring 16 points and grabbing eight rebounds. Thomas Robinson added a double-double, scoring 13 points and nabbing 17 rebounds.
Mike Scott had 19 points and nine rebounds for Atlanta. Hawks first-round pick Dennis Schroeder had an impressive game, scoring 16 points and handing out five assists.
Heat destroy Knicks
Travis Leslie had 23 points as the 18th-seeded Heat pummeled the 15th-seeded New York Knicks, 113-66. James Nunnally chipped in 18 points as Miami shot 58.3 percent from the field and only turned the ball over seven times.
The Heat jumped out to a 22-8 lead after one quarter. The score was 50-24 at halftime, and things just got worse for New York in the second half.
Jeremy Tyler was one of the few bright sports for the Knicks, scoring 18 points on 8-of-12 shooting and also grabbing eight rebounds. Jerome Jordan had 10 points and nine rebounds. Knicks first-round pick Tim Hardaway Jr. didn't play due to a wrist injury.
Akognon, Carmichael lead Mavs past Clippers
Josh Akognon had 24 points and Jackie Carmichael had 23 as the 16th-seeded Mavs defeated the 17th-seeded Los Angeles Clippers, 95-89. Jae Crowder was the only other Maverick to reach double-figures, scoring 16 points.
Dallas fell behind early, trailing by seven after the first quarter. The Mavs turned the tables in the second quarter, taking a two-point lead into the break. The game remained close the rest of the way, and Dallas went ahead for good on a three-pointer by Gal Mekel with 4:20 left.
Clippers first-round pick Reggie Bullock played well in the loss, scoring 20 points on 8-of-15 shooting. Jerome Randle made some nice contributions, scoring 15 points and dishing out six assists.
