Nate Robinson signs 2-year contract with Denver Nuggets, according to report

It appears the undersized guard finally found a multi-year deal after his resurgent season in Chicago.

The Denver Nuggets and free agent guard Nate Robinson agreed to a two-year contract on Monday, Benjamin Hochman of the Denver Post reports. The deal will be worth the bi-annual exception -- $4.03 million -- with a player option on the second year, USA Today's Sam Amick adds.

Coming off a surprisingly strong season with the Chicago Bulls, Robinson gets the multi-year contract he was seeking all offseason. It's not a particularly lucrative deal, but after spending the past four seasons on five different teams, the stability surely appeals to him.

For the Nuggets, Robinson provides some scoring punch off the bench after the team lost starting wing Andre Iguodala this offseason. With Wilson Chandler likely moving into a larger role, Robinson will be able to fill some of the reserve scoring he provided last season.

Forced into a major role last season by injuries, Robinson averaged 13.1 points and 4.4 assists per game with Chicago. He likely won't have to play point guard nearly as much in Denver with Ty Lawson and Andre Miller covering most of those duties.
