The Boston Celtics are expected to hire Ronald Nored in a player development role on head coach Brad Stevens' coaching staff, according to Jeff Goodman of ESPN.
Celtics to hire Ronald Nored as player development coach, according to report
Brad Stevens is bringing one of his former Butler players with him to the NBA.

Nored, who played for Stevens at Butler from 2009-2012, joined University of South Alabama as an assistant coach in April. Before that, his only coaching experience had been as a high school coach in Indiana.
According to Goodman, Nored will have a prominent role with the Celtics’ D-League affiliate, the Maine Red Claws.
Nored was a key contributor on Butler's two runs to the NCAA title game in 2010 and 2011. He was hired by South Alabama because of his connection with former Butler assistant coach and current Jaguars head coach Matthew Graves, and once again finds himself with an opportunity because of his ties to Butler.
