The New York Knicks are going hard after free-agent point guard Beno Udrih, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.

The Knicks are in the market for another point guard, and they’re reportedly trying hard to lure Beno Udrih to New York at the veteran’s minimum.

The Milwaukee Bucks traded Udrih to the Orlando Magic at the deadline in February as part of the J.J. Redick deal. The 31-year-old point guard played just 18.4 minutes per game for the Bucks last year, but that jumped to 27.3 minutes per game in Orlando. Udrih averaged 8.2 points and 4.6 assists between the two teams.
The Knicks only have the veteran’s minimum to offer, and Udrih made more than $7 million last season. However, the appeal of going to a contender could sway Udrih if there are no considerably better options out there.
Raymond Felton and Pablo Prigioni are currently the only two point guard's on New York's roster, so nabbing Udrih at the minimum would be a nice get. The Knicks had a lot of success running two-point guard units with Felton and Prigioni last season, and signing Udrih would give them a solid option to run the second unit.
