Free agent superstar Dwight Howard isn't ready to grace the NBA world with his big decision just yet, it seems. Howard originally suggested an answer could be revealed Friday, but it seems that the drama may stretch into the weekend.
Dwight Howard will announce decision ‘possibly’ over the weekend
Dwight Howard still isn’t ready to say where he wants to play next.

An initial report by Janis Carr of the Orange County Register suggested the announcement would be made via Twitter, but that has since been retracted.
Hold on....my tweet about Dwight's announcement was premature. No need to sit on Twitter this weekend.

The Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets are busy clearing cap space to pursue the talented big man, while the Lakers are opening up to the idea of a sign-and-trade scenario if Howard elects to go elsewhere.
Anything could still happen, though, and the Dallas Mavericks and Atlanta Hawks are still in play as landing spots as well. SB Nation NBA has broken down all of Dwight’s options in free agency for those wanting a quick look at the potential scenarios.
It’s a hurry-up-and-wait situation for fellow free agents and general managers in the NBA because Howard’s decision will unlock new scenarios and free up cap space for teams that strike out on the big man. Until then, everything is on hold until He makes his final decision.
Editor’s note: This post has been altered in light of the Twitter retraction.
