You probably didn't pay much attention to Josh McRoberts, because he toiled in obscurity for a woeful Charlotte Bobcats team, but he was efficient, cerebral and even productive following a trade-deadline deal from the Orlando Magic. He wasn't much of a scorer, but he was a good passer, a solid finisher and a decent enough rebounder to be a fine reserve. Charlotte was capable of running some form of an offense with him because of his high-post passing.
Josh McRoberts re-signs with Bobcats on a fair deal for his services
All this is to say that two years and $5.5 million to return to Charlotte is nice value for him. I’m surprised contenders that needed frontcourt depth didn’t come knocking.
