There has already been plenty of speculation regarding the highly anticipated summer of 2014 in the NBA, when the Miami Heat's Big Three of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh all have the opportunity to opt out of their contracts and become free agents.

Dwyane Wade, LeBron James and Chris Bosh can all opt out of their contracts next summer, but Wade has no reason to believe the trio will break up anytime soon.

However, Wade has reiterated several times in recent days that he doesn’t want to focus on next summer, and he told Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald that he believes the Big Three are in it together for the long haul:
“I have no reason to believe anything else. We all love it here. We’re all committed to compete for many, many years to come. Obviously, the business side will take over at one point.”
Following next season, Wade is set to earn $20.164 million in 2014-15 and $21.655 million in 2015-16, which is slightly less than both James and Bosh. The trio of stars could opt out in order to chase other free-agent opportunities, or they could opt out and re-up for less money and more years in order to help Miami secure even more talent.
Wade’s situation is rather interesting because of his balky knees. It would seem crazy for him to give up so much annual money, but he may be willing to do it in order to gain more security with a longer contract.
Wade doesn't really think his knees are an issue, however, and he doesn't expect the issues to linger for the rest of his career. The Heat star recently underwent electric shock treatment, and he expects to be ready for opening night against the Chicago Bulls.
