Grizzlies trade Tony Wroten to Sixers, according to report
The Grizzlies’ 2012 first-round pick will reportedly be leaving Memphis after just one season.

Wroten was drafted in the first round by the Grizzlies in 2012 out of Washington and played in 35 games during his rookie season. He saw spare playing time as a rookie, averaging 7.8 minutes per game and scoring just 2.6 points per contest.
Wroten saw some extended action during a four-game stretch in February, playing 26 minutes in a 91-83 loss to the New Orleans Hornets after scoring a season-high 11 points against Brooklyn in the previous game.
The 6'6 guard entered the NBA Draft after just one season with Washington, averaging 16.7 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game. Wroten was named the Pac-12 Freshman of the Year and selected to the All-Pac-12 first team. He was taken with the 25th overall pick by Memphis last June.
