Former Duke standout Seth Curry is expected to sign a non-guaranteed deal with the Golden State Warriors on Friday, according to Warriors World and later confirmed by Marcus Thompson of the Bay Area News Group.
NBA free agency: Seth Curry expected to sign with Warriors, per reports
Stephen Curry’s brother will reportedly join the Warriors for training camp.

Curry will participate in Warriors camp in hopes of joining his brother, star guard Stephen Curry, on the final roster. Golden State currently has 12 guaranteed contracts on the books, although that number could be 13 depending on the status of Ognjen Kuzmic. The Bosnian center recently opted out of his contract in Spain to join the Warriors, but it's unclear if he has a guaranteed deal or just a camp invite. Summer League standout Kent Bazemore has a non-guaranteed contract with the team, but is expected to make the roster.
Curry went undrafted in 2013 after a strong senior season at Duke. The 6’2 guard averaged 17.5 points on 46.5 percent shooting in 32.2 minutes per game as Duke advanced to the Elite Eight. Much like his older brother, Curry is especially dangerous from long range, shooting 43.8 percent from three-point land last season.
