The round-robin portion of the 2013 FIBA Africa Championship continues on Saturday in the Ivory Coast with four more games on the docket. Saturday’s games will feature two contests each from Groups A and C, which will wrap up round-robin play for those two groups and finish seeding for next week’s 16-team knockout tournament.
2013 FIBA Africa schedule: Ivory Coast, Angola aim to remain perfect
Former BYU forward Charles Abouo has led Ivory Coast to two blowout victories, while Angola has two dominant wins of their own heading into each team’s final game of pool play.


Ivory Coast will be in action against Egypt, and the host country has been nothing short of dominant in Group A.They’re 2-0 thus far in the tournament, boasting blowout victories over Algeria and Senegal -- a team with a few former NBA players. Former BYU forward Charles Abouo currently leads his team in scoring with 11.5 points per game.
Angola has been just as dominant in Group C, with two easy wins of their own over Cape Verde and Mozambique. Carlos Morais has been the star for Angola, averaging 18.5 points and 4.5 rebounds through the first two games. Angola takes on Central African Republic Saturday.
The other two games include four 1-1 teams. Mozambique and Cape Verde tip off the day’s games, while Senegal and Algeria follow right after.

Mozambique (1-1) vs. Cape Verde (1-1), Group C, 8:30 a.m.
Senegal (1-1) vs. Algeria (1-1), Group A, 11 a.m.
Ivory Coast (2-0) vs. Egypt (0-2), Group A, 1:30 p.m.
Angola (2-0) vs. Central African Republic (0-2), Group C, 4 p.m.
