The 37-year-old will add even more shooting to the Clippers’ roster.

Veteran forward Antawn Jamison is close to signing with the Los Angeles Clippers, according to Ramona Shelburne of ESPN Los Angeles.
Jamison spent last season with the Staples Center's other tenants, the Los Angeles Lakers. The 37-year-old appeared in 76 games and averaged 9.4 points and 4.8 rebounds in 21.5 minutes per game.
Jamison played hurt throughout part of last season, battling through torn wrist ligaments during the latter half of the year. He underwent surgery this offseason and is expected to be ready to go for the start of next season.
The addition of Jamison would add even more shooting to a Clippers team that clearly made 3-point shooting a priority this offseason. The Clippers added shooters in J.J. Redick and Jared Dudley via the Eric Bledsoe trade, while also retaining Matt Barnes and drafting North Carolina sharpshooter Reggie Bullock. Jamison shot 36.1 percent from long range last season.
