The Memphis Grizzlies waived center Fab Melo on Friday after trading for him a few weeks ago, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.
Grizzlies waive Fab Melo, according to report
Two NBA teams have moved on from Fab Melo in a span of two weeks.

The Boston Celtics' first-round pick in 2012 has yet to live up to his billing as he was given few minutes in Boston and wasn't great for their D-League team, either. The Celtics parted ways with Melo earlier this month, trading the former Syracuse center and cash to the Grizzlies for Donte Greene.
Melo averaged 9.8 points, six rebounds and 3.1 blocks per game while playing in the D-League, but the occasional flashes of brilliance never translated into NBA opportunities. He struggled in the Orlando Summer League, too, which led to him being traded by the Celtics.
Memphis didn’t like what it saw either, apparently, as they cut him despite the fact that they’ll still owe him his full salary for the upcoming season.
