The Memphis Grizzlies are in search of some point guard help, and they currently remain in discussions with Mo Williams and Beno Udrih, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.

Memphis continues to look for a more viable backup to Mike Conley, and they are still talking with veterans Williams and Udrih.

The Grizzlies would like to add a veteran point guard to back up Mike Conley. Jerryd Bayless and Tony Wroten are currently in place, but Bayless may be a better fit at the two and Wroten is still raw.
Either Williams or Udrih would be a nice get this late in free agency. The fact that Williams is still available is somewhat surprising, because he had a good year with the Utah Jazz when he was able to stay on the court. The 30-year-old was limited to 46 games due to a hand injury, but he did average 12.9 points and 6.2 assists in those games.
Udrih, 31, split his time last season between the Milwaukee Bucks and Orlando Magic. He averaged 8.2 points and 4.6 assists in 66 games combined between the two teams.
Memphis still has most of their non-taxpayer mid-level exception remaining to offer either player, as well as the bi-annual exception worth just over $2 million. The Grizzlies could also offer the veteran’s minimum, but Stein reports that Udrih is hoping for more money, and it’s likely that Williams is in the same boat.
The New York Knicks are still chasing Udrih, but they only have the minimum to offer. The Miami Heat have expressed interest in Williams, and they still have their taxpayer mid-level exception at their disposal.
