Oklahoma City Thunder guard DeAndre Liggins was arrested on Saturday for complaints of domestic assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and domestic abuse in the presence of a minor. He is currently being held in Oklahoma County jail.
DeAndre Liggins arrested on domestic abuse complaints
Liggins played sparingly in 39 games with the Thunder last season.

Liggins and his girlfriend were involved in a dispute around 4:40 p.m. local time when police arrived. A child was present, though it is not known if it his child or not, according to the report.
Liggins, 25, appeared in 39 games last season with the Thunder, averaging 1.5 points and 1.4 rebounds while playing just over seven minutes a night off the bench. He does not have a guaranteed contract for the upcoming 2013-14 season. The Orlando Magic drafted Liggins with the 53rd overall pick in 2011.
“We are aware of the situation and take this matter seriously. We are in the process of gathering more information and have no further comment at this time,” said general manager Sam Presti in an official team statement.
