The Cleveland Cavaliers and Milwaukee Bucks have made a proposition to the NBA that would allow them to place the names of season-ticket holders on their playing court, according to the John Lombardo of SportsBusiness Daily:

Details are still being finalized and must be approved by the league, but the program would allow for the names of the season-ticket holders who are part of the loyalty clubs to be placed on the apron that surrounds the playing floor -- or possibly even on the playing floor itself.
One source said the Cavaliers are proposing to put the account holders’ names on the sideline aprons while the Bucks are considering putting the names near the half-court line on the playing floor. The locations are subject to change depending on league response to the proposal.
The organizations made the pitch to the NBA independently. The teams would make the option available to members of their season-ticket loyalty programs and the cost would be included in their membership.

Season-ticket holders will be given the opportunity to view their names on the court during pregame events and other events in the arena, and the names are not expected to be visible from television cameras, according to Lombardo.
Details that still must be sorted out include whether the names will be a decal on the court or painted, whether the proposal would clutter the court and making sure the placement will not interfere with other, “highly-visible” court-side advertisement areas.
