Monday marks the final day of EuroBasket 2013’s second round, and there’s still one berth left to be had in the quarterfinals. Defending champion Spain has the best chance at that spot, and they will get in if they defeat Italy. Spain would also advance if Greece loses to Croatia.
EuroBasket 2013 schedule: Spain, Greece eye last spot in quarterfinals
Spain gets to the next round with a win over Italy or a Greece loss to Croatia.

Spain is coming off a dominating victory over Finland, led by Jose Calderon's 23 points and five assists. Victor Claver added 12 points and seven rebounds.
Italy has lost two straight games after winning their first five of the tournament. On Saturday, Luigi Datome’s 24 points and seven rebounds wasn’t enough in a 76-68 loss to Croatia.
Greece and Croatia is the first game of the day, so Spain will have a much better grasp on their situation once their game rolls around. If Greece does win, Spain would find themselves in danger of losing that final spot. Greece gets to the next round with a win, a Spain loss and a Finland loss.
Finland plays Slovenia in the last contest of the day. All of the games can be viewed online on ESPN3. Here’s Monday’s schedule (all times Eastern):
Croatia vs. Greece, 8:30 a.m.
Italy vs. Spain, 11:45 a.m.
Finland vs. Slovenia, 3 p.m.
