    New Orleans’ defensive woes continued Friday as the Mavericks lit it up for 14 three-pointers and 53 percent shooting overall. Continuing an unfortunate theme for the Pelicans this season, Dallas loaded up on open shots around the perimeter as poor switching and untimely freelancing proved costly.

    Rocking the nickname jerseys that garnered so much unnecessary attention in recent days, the two teams played the kind of intense game we would’ve expected entering the season. After LeBron James fouled out late in the first overtime, the Nets took over the second extra period, outscoring the Heat 11-2.

    James had been playing fantastic before recording his sixth foul, leading Miami back from a 14-point deficit in the second half to force overtime. He finished with 36 points, seven rebounds and five assists, but this is the first time he’s fouled out of a regular season game since April 2, 2008.
