Kenneth Faried swallows up Dion Waiters’ layup in embarrassing 2-handed block

I am not exactly how to process this block after watching it a dozen or so times. Kenneth Faried, athletic force of devastation, jumps from what looks like a few feet inside the free throw line and absolutely devours Dion Waiters' ill-fated layup attempt on a fastbreak. Faried doesn't just block it; He snatched it out of the air like catching an alley-oop lob, stays inbounds despite his momentum and saves the ball. Waiters, crushed, slides on the floor to the stanchion underneath the basket.
