Tony Parker out against Bucks with shin bruise
The San Antonio Spurs will rest Tony Parker on Sunday after the point guard suffered a shin bruise on Friday.

The injury had been bothering Parker in the 109-100 loss but stiffened after halftime, leading coach Gregg Popovich and the starting point guard to agree upon taking off the game at AT&T Center. Cory Joseph will start in place of Parker, according to the Express-News' Jeff McDonald.
Parker is leading San Antonio by averaging 17.9 points per game and 6.3 assists per game.
San Antonio will also be without stretch big man Matt Bonner, who is getting fitted for a mask after breaking his nose, and continues without center Tiago Splitter. Splitter hasn't played since Jan. 4 because of a shoulder injury. Down to 12 players on the active roster, the Spurs additionally called up forward Malcolm Thomas from the D-League.
