NBA scores: Durant leads OKC past Spurs

    Soobum Im-USA TODAY Sports

Despite 11 turnovers, Durant shot 12-of-22 from the field and added seven rebounds in the win. He stepped up when it counted, too, hitting a couple late three-pointers to put away the game:

Meanwhile, Jackson was simply superb, delivering an 8-to-0 assist-to-turnover ratio in addition to his efficient scoring effort. The rest of the Thunder turned the ball over just four times, lessening the impact of Durant’s occasional sloppiness.

    Soobum Im-USA TODAY Sports

Entering the fourth quarter up by one, the Thunder led throughout the final period and eventually pulled away in the last minute. Durant was a huge part of that, hitting two three-pointers in less than 60 seconds as OKC expanded its four-point lead to eight:

    AIR BARGNANI fails to fly

Andrea Bargnani’s tenure with the Knicks, has... well... well... let’s just put this here:

Bargnani got the ball outside the three-point arc and wisely opted not to take the shot -- he’s 1-for-5 on the night, 28.2 percent on the year. Next, he tried to go for the poster dunk on Thaddeus Young, but didn’t really possess the momentum or strength to keep going. Instead

    Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

J.R. Smith often comes out early to shoot at halftime of Knicks games, which means he often finds himself in the middle of halftime shows, which sometimes means he participates in said halftime shows. We’ve seen him play basketball with little kids on more than one occasion, and Wednesday night we saw this:

Maybe J.R. could make some of that fine money back by air-busking in the subway?

    Rudy Gay suffers Achilles injury

    Mark D. Smith-USA TODAY Sports

It’s unclear what specifically caused Gay’s injury, but he limped off the court midway through the first period and headed to the locker room during a timeout. Coming off a huge 41-point performance, arguably his best in years, this comes at a pretty frustrating time for the athletic wing.

He played just six minutes on Wednesday, recording four points on 2-of-5 shooting.
