— darren rovell (@darrenrovell) January 23, 2014 Of course, these alternate uniforms are sleeved. It is abundantly clear that, regardless of how fans and players feel about sleeved jerseys, this is what the NBA wants. The trend for all alternate uniforms this season has been sleeves, sleeves, sleeves, and it looks like there will be more and more of them next year. It makes a little bit more sense for this one, though, since, you know, baseball uniforms have sleeves.
What do you think of this jersey design? I’d say it’s far superior to the 2014 All-Star monstrosities and the Christmas Day pajamas. It should be noted that Brooklyn’s Christmas jersey was far and away the best of the bunch. Just like those, the Dodgers-themed jerseys aren’t great, but they could be worse.
